Some of my fondest childhood memories are of time spent with my maternal grandfather drawing and coloring. Special gifts from him included the biggest box of crayons available - oh how I loved all of the colors. I continued drawing and painting throughout my childhood, majoring in art in high school. My dad strongly advised that I obtain a college degree in something less volatile than art. Thankfully I complied. Now, after raising two children and a long career in the insurance industry, I've returned to my first love - art.
I am an associate member of the Lyme Art Association where I have studied with some of New England's finest artists. My work hangs in private collections around the United States. Recent works have been accepted into juried shows at the Lyme Art Association and the West Hartford Art Walk.
